The Intermediate Circulation Zones and the emergency of dissonant narratives in media discourse
Keywords:

The assumption is made that the procedural nature of mediatization triggers the emergence of dissonant narratives in media discourse. Dissonant narratives are counter-hegemonic perspectives that arise from complex semioses and operate, in the symbolic realm, in opposition to the meanings typically offered by journalistic media devices such as websites, newspapers, and magazines. In doing so, they reconfigure the media system, demanding new grammars of interpretation from those who analyze them. The approach is qualitative, following the model proposed by Demo (2000), and the object under analysis is the Sumaúma website: journalism from the center of the world.
